Toffee Crunch Blondies

1/2 cup softened butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1 pkg (200 g) Skor bits

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Beat butter with brown sugar and eggs until well blended. Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well.

Stir in chocolate chips and 1 cup of Skor bits. Spread into greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake for 23-28 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle evenly with remaining Skor bits. Cool. Cut into bars. Makes about 36 bars.

These are so good! They are even better the next day! We added pecans to the recipe and used whole wheat pastry flour to make it more healthy. Much better than regular toll house pan cookies.

I added Chocolate syrup to the mix instead of the chocolate chips since i was fresh out.. they turned out great too!!
